Wires that are setĀ free from their obligation to make connections. Cut open and willing to be something different, they got intertwined to make something new. They became structures, meshes, mazes. They raised and expanded. But they couldn't escape their identity. Their origin brands them, makes them recognizable. They ended up not makingĀ something different, but a new way in which they could be what they had always been.Ā
I cut open wires because i wanted to see what was inside of them. I tried to think what other uses could be made withĀ them. I tried to listen to the materials, see what they could propose. I ended up learning something: it seems to me as if their eternal destiny was to connect, and their eternal conflict to get entangled.
